TSV Peiting starts at the weekend.

Peiting - The stick shooters had to be patient for a long time, now there is clarity: The game should take place in the summer season at least in some areas. This was decided by the Technical Commission of the "Eisstockport" division in the Bavarian Ice Sports Association (BEV). According to this, the youth should play fully, with the adults the women play the 1st Bundesliga and the men play the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga. There is no promotion or relegation, but the national leagues serve to qualify for the German championship, which takes place in a tournament.

In the 1st Bundesliga South, which is divided into four groups of four teams each, the men of TSV Peiting play in Group C against FC Ottenzell, EC Hauzenberg and EC Altwasser Windorf, against whom tomorrow, Saturday, the Home game in the Dreifachhalle am Birkenried also starts (4 p.m.).

Further home games are scheduled for June 26th (against Ottenzell) and July 17th (against Hauzenberg).

For the quarter-finals on July 31st, the top two teams in each group will qualify.

TSV Peiting took DM bronze in 2019

At the German championship 2019, the Peitinger came to medal honors.

The TSV team with Alexander Vöst, Christopher Schwaiger, Mathias Adler, Thomas Baumgartner and Michael Lindner reached the final tournament in Passau after outstanding performances in the Bundesliga.

After a defeat against the host favorite and eventual winner, the EC Passau-Neustift, it was enough to finish third.

TSV Peiting II made it into the 2nd Bundesliga by winning the Bayernliga championship in 2019.

In Group D, the TSV runner-up will meet SV Mühlhausen, SSC Gachenbach and co-promoted TSV Kühbach II, against whom the opening game will take place tomorrow, Saturday, in the Peitinger Hall (11 a.m.).

There is also good news for all stock sport clubs in the region: Since the Corona rules have been loosened to a large extent, club tournaments are allowed again.
