The Higher Committee for Martial Arts Games, the Technical Committee for Kung Fu and Wushu, will hold a central course for preparing coaches and referees at the Syrian Olympic Academy building in Al-Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus on the twenty-fourth of this month and will last for two days.
In a statement to SANA’s sports representative, the head of the technical committee for the game, Hammam Al-Dayeh, said: “A selection of national lecturers will participate in the course, which includes a series of theoretical axes and practical applications, and there are efforts to bring in an expert Arab lecturer accredited by the Arab Federation for the game.”
Al-Dayeh added that the course program will include intensive lectures on the basics of kung fu, explaining the techniques of the game and the use of the modern combat method in accordance with the law of the game, with an explanation of modern training methods that aim to raise the capabilities of trainers through modern technical means that help raise the technical abilities of players to catch up with the highest advanced levels. in the game field.
Al-Dayeh pointed out that the course will include lectures in the field of arbitration in accordance with the regulations of the International Federation of the Game, which grants coaches and referees certificates and gives them the opportunity to participate in the subsequent advanced training and arbitration courses according to the technical regulations of the game.
On the other hand, the committee will hold the first championship for young men and women in Sanda martial sport on the fifteenth of next month at Al-Jalaa Sports Hall in Damascus, as part of preparations to participate in the Asian Championship to be held in China at the end of this year.
