Christian Eriksen sent a message to his club colleagues a few hours after his collapse in the European Championship game against Finland, according to Inter Milan's managing director Beppe Marotta.
“He's a lot better.
The nice thing is that he sent a message in our internal inter-chat.
He calmed the team down and said that he will be back soon, "said Marotta on the Italian TV channel Sky Sport.
The 29-year-old Eriksen collapsed on Saturday during the European Championship preliminary round match between Denmark and Finland (0-1).
The Danish association announced in the evening that the midfielder was conscious and in a stable condition.
The Italian soccer champions, with whom Eriksen has been under contract since last year, is in close contact with the Danish doctors, according to Marotta.
He did not want to speculate about the reasons for the collapse, said the managing director.
"He did not have Covid and he was not vaccinated," added Marotta.
