Overall, the whole Russian defense made a poor game.
But Semenov personified this rout.

Luckily for him, his pivotal buddy, Dzhikiya, saved the furniture.
On the goal of Meunier's break, Semenov did not show an exceptional sense of marking.

Denis Cheryshev, ghostly
Substitute at kick-off, the Valencia player returned to the pitch in the 30th minute replacing Kuzyayev, victim of a violent shock with Castagne. Cheryshev finally only remained half an hour on the field of St. Petersburg, replaced in the 63rd minute. Sensation of the 2018 World Cup, he did nothing and never hurt the opposing defense.
