You are the first player in the Open era to win every Grand Slam tournament at least twice.

. I am delighted and very proud to mark the history of the sport that I love with all my heart. The scenario of the last 48 hours is in the top 3 of my greatest tennis experiences. Winning this battle with Rafael and then bouncing back today with recharged batteries for a 4 hour match is always a bit of a trap. It's always a trap, because when you play for your first Grand Slam trophy, you don't have much to lose. I knew he was going to start strong, which he did. Very tight first set, which could have changed. But he just played better at key moments. Then in the second set, I collapsed a bit physically and mentally. I think it was fatigue that won me over. Then I left the court as against Lorenzo Musetti in the round of 16 when I was led two sets to nothing.When I got back I started to hit the ball better and the pace slipped to my side.

You gave your racket to a child after the ceremony.

Why this gesture?

He was in my ear the entire game.

He gave me tactics (laughs).

I found it very cute, I found it adorable.

So I gave him my racket, he was the best person I could give it to as a token of gratitude.

Do you pray to the patron saint of Serbia?

I have guardian angels in a special corner, but it's a secret I can't reveal (laughs).

Do you think you can catch up with and surpass Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal's record?

I never thought it was impossible.

I'm not there yet, I still lack a bit.

Both still play at fantastic levels, especially Nadal.

We all still have fantastic opportunities.

I will try everything to do it while following the path that is mine.

You made a sort of speech to yourself after losing the second set.

What did you say to yourself?

I don't verbalize, I keep it inside. Often in a match there are two opposing voices. The first one says you're not going to make it, and she was very strong this one after the second set. At that point, it was time to let the other voice speak, telling you that you can kick back and make it happen. I started to repeat this to myself throughout my mind, body and being. The first games, I saw that my game followed and it supported this second voice which encouraged me. On the court, we don't have too much time to continue thinking. Me, I trained a lot in my career to have the mental capacity to refocus and rebalance myself in the moment. It's a face-to-face sport but it's all up to you. I remember great matches, especially in Grand Slam,that I lost because of this internal dialogue, this internal conversation, which was taking over and pulling me to the dark side.

Do you think you can achieve the Golden Grand Slam: the Major Four and the Olympics?

Everything is possible.

Considering what I've been through in my life, in my career, it's possible.

Many thought that I would not be able to do what I did.

I was already in this position in 2016, and I was beaten in the 3rd round at Wimbledon (…) This year, Wimbledon is only 15 days away, it is not easy to change the surface and the game in such a short time of time.

But I'm not hiding it, of course I'm aiming for the title there.
