As the spokesman for UEFA and Wembley Stadium confirmed to SID, the fan fell from the stands shortly after the game kicked off, first received medical care in the arena and was hospitalized in critical condition.

UEFA announced that further information would be published at the “appropriate time”.

The Wembley officials said that the incident would be intensively investigated and clarified.

There was initially no information on the condition, age and gender of the fan involved in the accident.

22,500 spectators were in the arena on Sunday afternoon.

According to the Evening Standard newspaper, however, it was a man who fell from a rank and fell onto the seats and stone floor on the floor below.

The Wembley spokesman announced that the incident would be investigated with UEFA.
