Spain had a sour debut at the Euro Cup on Monday. The selection of Luis Enrique could not go from 0-0 against Sweden despite clearly dominating throughout the match, but the lack of success in the face of goal denied a happy debut for the Red. With Pedri as a great novelty in the eleven, Spain cornered Sweden from the beginning and was planted in the opposite field. Morata had the best chance of La Roja but on the next play, Isak made Luis Enrique's blood run cold. Luckily, Marcos Llorente was in the exact spot to deflect his shot and make the ball go off after bouncing off the post. In the second half, the team came out dominant again but with one march less than in the first half. The Swedes knew how to hold out and despite the fact that Luis Enrique's men turned in attack, they failed to get the longed-for winning goal. This is how we have counted the minute by minute of the first match of the Spanish team in the Eurocup:
