The opening game of the German national soccer team at the EM was disrupted by a paraglider pilot.
The man landed on the lawn of the Munich arena immediately before the match with world champions France kicked off.
The environmental organization Greenpeace could read on his yellow paraglider.
The exact background of the action initially remained unclear.
The national players Antonio Rüdiger and Mats Hummels, who had taken up line-up in the immediate vicinity, first rushed to the man, who was then led from the inside of the stadium by two security guards.
The kick-off was therefore not delayed.
