Amancio (1964)
Amancio Amaro, the Galician Brujo, was a Real Madrid attacker from 1962 to 1976 (he played 471 official matches with the white elastic). A key member of Madrid ye-yé, he is considered one of the great Spanish footballers in history. Owner of the right wing, he exploded in the ranks of Deportivo Coruñés before reaching the white discipline at the express wish of Santiago Bernabéu. He was international on 42 occasions: in the 1964 Eurocup he participated in the two final phase matches played by the National Team: he scored in the extra time of the semifinal against Hungary, giving Villalonga's team a pass to the final of the tournament.
