For those who believe that professional footballers are supermen who overcome serious injuries faster than others, you should read the statements of Belgian Kevin De Bruyne after his victorious match against Denmark (2-1).
On May 29, the Belgian suffered a double facial fracture.
An injury suffered after a violent fault by the German Antonio Rüdiger, in the Champions League final lost by Manchester City to Chelsea (0-1).
Admittedly, De Bruyne, after missing the first game of the Red Devils, was very good against Denmark: he offered the equalizer to Thorgan Hazard before giving the advantage to his team.
But after the match, De Bruyne returned to his state of health and is far from fully recovered.

“I don't feel anything on the left side, like after a visit to the dentist, he blurted out after the meeting.
My nerve is badly affected, which could take six months.
It's not a comfortable feeling, but the most important thing is that I can play.
The past two months I've been through ups and downs with injuries.
"
The Belgian international admits some apprehensions. “Fortunately, I came back quickly,” he continues. There was a very good intensity for half an hour. I'm glad I got to play. My performance was okay. I was sometimes afraid to put my head in duels, but that's normal. I'm glad I was able to help the team, but am I ready to play 90 minutes? No idea. We have to wait and see how my body reacts and then we will see after Finland (last group game). We are already qualified so we can see how my injury will go. "
