The Syrian national swimming team will continue its training camp in the Olympic swimming pool in Al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia until the tenth of next month in preparation for the upcoming external tournaments.

Federation Secretary Shatha Abbas explained in a statement to SANA’s sports reporter that this camp is the first for young men and women, juniors and girls, in which 15 swimmers are training in speed and endurance races under the supervision of coach Mohamed Mardanli, and it is a station through which the Federation can know the real level of players before participating in the upcoming tournaments.

Abbas indicated that the Game Federation is working through training camps to develop the level of swimmers and swimmers and improve their numbers to reach new Syrian numbers that will enable them to compete strongly in the upcoming tournaments, the first of which is the Tishreen International Swimming Long Race, which is scheduled to be held in the ninth month, and the Arab Championship, which will be held in the tenth month in A place to be determined later.

The head of the technical committee for swimming in Latakia, Muhammad Zidan, pointed out that the camp allowed the swimmers of the Lattakia team to train with the swimmers of the national team in order to gain more experience and thus develop their technical and physical level.

The camp includes players Omar Abbas, Osama Traboulsieh, Malik Khchifati, Laith Laqmoush, Muhammad Shoman, Kinan Ghareeb, Saeed Tabikh, Badr Al-Ajmi, Bilassan Al-Ajmi, Khaled Barakat, Muhammad Barakat, Sham Nabulsi, Alma Hamad and Mustafa Al-Khalidi, while the Latakia team includes Lyn Ayyash, Muhammad Shabana, Abd al-Rahman Shabana, Laith Abboud, Mudar Hassan, Maria Esber and Maya We have an esper.
