He had become in ten years of antics on Twitter one of the figures of sport version pop culture.
The so-called "Philousport", his real first name Philippe, died this Saturday.
According to our information, he succumbed to a heart attack which occurred around 5:30 p.m.
Not known to the general public, but adored in the twittosphere and the sports microcosm, he made himself known from 2011 by commenting on sports news from an offbeat and squeaky angle, notably via GIFs, these short animated video sequences.
"Myopath without knowing [his] willingly," as he described himself for a while on Twitter, he was followed by nearly 263,000 subscribers.
