From his room in Budapest, the Blues midfielder made a point of winking at his family and all the fathers of families in the spotlight this Sunday.

Paul Pogba lived a difficult day on Saturday with the Blues against Hungary by being forced into a draw (1-1).

But the tricolor midfielder, as disappointing in the Puskas Arena as he had been brilliant against Germany in Munich, was able to find some comfort this Sunday with Father's Day.

The “Pickaxe” made a point of celebrating this special day alone from his hotel room in Budapest, addressing his family but also all the fathers of families.

"I know you are not with me physically with me but you are still there"

Leaning against his bed, with a few inflated balloons to mark the occasion, a family photo and some taste celebrations on a set, the Manchester United player posted a short video on social networks.

"

I am the happiest dad in the world,

" he said, addressing his wife, Bolivian (which explains the use of Spanish), and his child.

I know you are not with me physically with me but you are still there,

” he continued, putting his hand on his heart.

A nod to all the fathers of families

Pogba, who is preparing the shock against Portugal on Tuesday at the Euro, accompanied his video with a message addressed to all dads, like him and to the families gathered: "

Happy Father's Day to all those who celebrate in the whole world! I wish all fathers the strength to guide their children. Family is the greatest blessing of all, may we all enjoy it every moment.
