Fabio Quartararo has long fought for places of honor in this Grand Prix.
The 22-year-old from Nice was finally able to overtake the Australian Jack Miller with 12 laps to go to reach his fifth podium of the season (3rd).
In the standings, the Frenchman is increasing his lead at the top of the World Championship: he is now 22 points ahead of Johann Zarco (2nd) and 31 points ahead of Jack Miller (3rd), while the reigning champion Joan Mir shows a disbursement of 46 points.

On the podium, the young Tricolor is preceded by the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira (KTM) and by the returning Marc Marquez (Honda).
The Spanish champion, who considered victory this weekend "impossible", ended this Sunday at 581 days of famine by winning the Sachsenring race for the eighth time in a row (the race was not held last year ).
