The Barcelona forward suffered a blow in the game against Hungary and says goodbye to the remainder of the competition

Barça winger Ousmane Dembélé will miss the remainder of the Eurocup due to an injury to his right knee during last Saturday's France-Hungary match, as confirmed by the French Football Federation (FFF) on Monday.

The footballer of the French team will leave the gala concentration today.

A luxury substitute for the French national team, the 24-year-old FC Barcelona player took the field in the 57th minute of the game that France played against Hungary, but in the 87th he requested the change with symptoms of pain in the back of his right thigh.

The radiological examinations that the footballer underwent this Sunday revealed "recovery times incompatible with his maintenance in the group," according to the FFF.

Touché à un genou samedi lors de Hongrie-France (1-1), Ousmane Dembélé is contracted to declare forfait pour la suite de l'Euro.

Bon rétablissement Ousmane!

World champion coach Didier Deschamps explained then that the attacker “suffered a blow to the tendon, behind the knee.

After he noticed something in a center, he felt quite a bit of pain.

We took no risk and decided to change him, ”he explained.

Deschamps thus loses one of the footballers he used as a trigger in matches.

Dembélé came to Barcelona in the 2017-18 season and since then he has not been able to complete a full season without injuries.

In his first campaign he missed 27 games, in the second thirteen, in the third forty and in the last, the best, only six.
