The DFB team has a good chance of reaching the last sixteen at the EM.
Depending on the final position in the group, there are four possible game dates.
Munich - After the defeat at the start of the European Championship against France, the entry into the knockout phase of the tournament seemed to be in danger.
But on Saturday the German team reported back with an impressive 4-2 win against Portugal, before the game against the Hungarians on Wednesday the chances of the round of 16 * are good.
Even the group win is still possible for Jogi Löw's team.
But when would the next knockout game with German participation take place?
EM 2021: When could Germany play in the round of 16?
First place in the group is still possible
First place would be possible for the DFB team with a win against Hungary and a simultaneous draw between France and Portugal or a corresponding win for the Portuguese in a parallel game. In the event of a group win, the national team's round of 16 match would
take place
on
Monday, June 28th
. The game would
take place in the Romanian capital Bucharest
at
9 p.m.
German time.
Germany is currently in second place, as you win the direct comparison against the Portuguese with the same number of points.
If it stays that way, the team will have one more day to regenerate than in the first case.
The runner-up in Group F would
play for the quarter-finals
on
Tuesday, June 29th at 6 p.m.
German time at London's Wembley Stadium.
The opponent would then be the first placed in group D, possibly England or the Czech Republic.

EM 2021: When could the DFB team play in the round of 16?
Two possible dates in third place
Should the DFB * team play a draw against Hungary while Portugal wins against France, it would slip to third place. In this case, one would first have to hope to get into the top four of the six thirds in the group. If the entry into the knockout phase were to succeed via the new mode, there would be two possible dates for the German team. This depends on the 15 different possible constellations, for each of which there is a game board.
Either the German team will
face
the Netherlands * in third place on
Sunday, June 27th at 6 p.m.
in Budapest, who have already been confirmed as the winners of Group A. Or you
play the later game
on the
same day at 9 p.m.
in the Olympic Stadium in Seville, the opponent would be the first in Group B. At the moment it looks like Belgium * will secure first place. Thus, in both cases, there could be a neighborhood duel at the European Championship *.
