The Syrian national athletics team player, Muhammad Amin Al-Salama, won a bronze medal in the triple jump competition with a distance of 16.10 meters and the same in the long jump competition with a distance of 7.58 meters in the Arab Championship for men and women currently being held in the Tunisian city of Rades.
The Arab Athletics Championships in its current version is of great importance as it is a qualifying station for some games to the Tokyo Olympics.
Players from Tunisia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Oman, Yemen, Palestine, Jordan, Sudan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt and Lebanon will participate in the tournament.
