Shadi Issa, the player of the Syrian national team for special sports, won, after a strong competition with the world champions, the fourth place in the physical strength competition, with a lift of 188 kg, for a weight of 80 kg, in the Fazza International Championship currently being held in the Emirate of Dubai and qualifying for Paralympic Tokyo.
Our team is represented in the aforementioned tournament, Rasha Al Sheikh, Nora Badour, Fatima Al Hassan, Shadi Issa and Alaa Al Yousef.
Our national team player, Noura Bodour, won the gold in the same tournament in 2019, while the two players Fatima Al-Hassan and Rasha Al-Sheikh won the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the 2015 edition, and the player Shadi Issa won silver in 2017, during which our player Al-Hassan also won the silver medal.
