You can't always win against a Bayern league club: The SE Freising footballers conceded their first test match defeat at VfR Garching.

Freising

- In the second test match of the current summer preparation, it was the first defeat for the footballers of SE Freising: In the regional league relegated VfR Garching, the national league deservedly lost 1: 3 (0: 2).

Both teams, confirmed SEF trainer Alex Plabst, did not make a particularly good game on balance.

What would it be worth, this 2-1 win against Bayern league club SV Pullach on the previous weekend?

Not much if you believe the result of the second preparatory game that brought the Lerchenfelder to Garching on Saturday.

The local VfR is currently reorganizing itself after relegation from the regional league.

The Freisinger, however, could not compete with the best line-up again.

And so the few viewers did not necessarily experience a football treat over the 90 minutes.

Bad passes and random products shaped the picture

"Sometimes the game was afflicted with a high error rate," said Freising's coach Alex Plabst.

On both sides little is together, many bad passports and random products shaped the picture.

The hosts from Garching presented themselves at least effectively and were soon clearly ahead: First, Kubilay Celik had scored with a penalty for the lead for VfR (36th) - and only a little later Kelvin Onuigwe (40th) increased to 2-0 half-time.

Andreas Hohlenburger and Vitus Kirchberger are missing from SE Freising

The mass was almost read shortly after the restart, when Onuigwe again scored the 3-0 goal (48th).

But the guests in the yellow jerseys, in which at least veteran Michael Schmid had been able to take part, wanted to give up just like that, but not: Towards the end of the second half, guest player Selim Magat scored the 1: 3 goal.

Conclusion: Once again, coach Alex Plabst had to do without key players.

Among other things, Andreas Hohlenburger and Vitus Kirchberger are still missing, both are in trouble.

"Without them," says Plabst, "it will be a very difficult season for us."
