Australian Ashleigh Barty qualified for the second round of the Wimbledon Open after defeating Spain's Carla Suarez Navarro.
The world champion defeated Navarro in two sets with a score of 1-6, 7-6, 6-1 in a match that exceeded two and a half hours.
This is Navarro's last match at Wimbledon, which is held on grass in Britain, where she will retire at the end of the year.
