The England national football team qualified for the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship Euro 2020 after defeating its German counterpart in the round of 16 with two goals without a response in the match that brought them together today at Wembley Stadium in London.
England's goalscorer Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane scored in the 75th and 86th minutes of the match.
In the quarter-finals of the continental championship, the English team will face the winner of the confrontation between Sweden and Ukraine later today at the “Olympico” stadium in the Italian capital, Rome, on the 3rd of next July.
