What happened?
Apparently Coman had injured himself shortly before.
"He had muscular problems on his thigh," revealed Deschamps after the game: "But he still wanted to continue playing, knowing that it was no longer really possible."
The coach didn't like that at all: "It's not enough to want to continue, you have to be able to do it."

Shortly thereafter, Deschamps took Coman out of the game and brought in Marcus Thuram, another Bundesliga player.

In the end, however, the nerves of PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe failed and France was eliminated.
