Raheem Sterling confirms

Timo Werner did not find the fault

For his first tenure in this Euro, he only had one shot, stopped by Pickford who had climbed on him very early. He therefore logically leaves his place to Serge Gnabry who will hardly have weighed on the English defense, caught between the two very solid Maguire and Stones.
Thomas Muller washed away
He should have been the leader of this Mannschaft and made his experience speak, but the image that we will remember of his match will remain his strike which misses the goals of Pickford in the 82nd, while the English lead already 1-0. He missed his angry side that we know him at Bayern when Germany took the water. Leached like many of his teammates, he will come out with his head down to make way for the young Musiala in the 89th.
Manuel Neuer anything but serene
He will not have fulfilled his role of leader either. When England lead 1-0, Neuer is content to go and get the ball from the back of the net. While Pickford opposite saves some good German attempts and made good outings, he did not know how to talk to his defenders and even scared a little on his outings that were poorly coordinated with the rest of his line. His best move of the game was his stoppage on Sterling in the 16th, even though he nearly cost a goal in his poor outing on Kane in the 45th.
