"Vicky was a perfect striker," Gili Landau said.

Peretz, 68, is remembered mainly from his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv and the Israeli national team.
After starting his career at Maccabi Ramat Amidar, he moved to the Yellows in 1973 and helped them win a double in 1976/77, when he was also crowned king of league goals.
In 1980 he signed for French side Strasbourg and in his two years in the media he scored 27 goals in the French top league.
In the 1982/83 season he joined Ran and with 17 goals, helped her advance to the first division.
In 1983 he returned to Maccabi Tel Aviv and after two years left for Samson Tel Aviv.
Until he retired in 1991, he also managed to wear the uniforms of Betar Netanya, Hapoel Lod and Maccabi Hashikma Ramat Hen. In his closet can be found two championships and a trophy with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Peretz recorded 40 appearances in the Israeli national team uniform in which he scored 14 goals. , Dorit, is the widow of the late former footballer Avi Cohen and his son is a former player and current coach, Omar Peretz.
After retiring, Peretz coached the Israeli youth team and later served as Eli Cohen's assistant at Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
