Mark Cavendish celebrates his victory on the sixth stage of the Tour de France

Mark Cavendish (Deceuninck-Quickstep) won the sixth stage of the 108th Tour de France.
Two days after his success on the fourth stage of the tour, the Briton also won the mass sprint over the 160.6 kilometers between Tours and Chateauroux.
Second was the Belgian Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Fenix) ahead of Nacer Bouhanni (Arkea-Samsic).
The Dutchman Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix) successfully defended the overall leader's yellow jersey for the fourth time.
Mathieu is now eight seconds ahead of defending champion Tadej Pogacar from Slovenia.
Belgian champion Wout van Aert is 30 seconds back third.
