Milwaukee fans celebrate qualifying for Eastern Conference final (YouTube)

The 2021 playoffs in the NBA continue to back up victims, just as much as it provides dramas and surprises.

Tonight (Tuesday through Wednesday) it was Yannis Antocompo's turn to injure and worry the league fans, in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals in which Atlanta defeated his Milwaukee 88: 110, setting a 2-2 draw in the series.

The Bucks were convinced they would escape a 1-3 advantage from which very few teams had managed to return to the playoffs in the past, and just hours before the game got another reason to believe it would happen, as it turned out that Trey Young injured in the previous game, sitting and unable to participate.

But Atlanta is proving again and again this season that it has a special character, and in Young's absence, other players have taken the reins.

Lou Williams who was bounced to the top five with no choice mentioned oblivion, Bogdan Bogdanovich who proved in his years in Europe that he winks at materials from a real winner rose again in Money Time, and the first half was controlled by the host, who went down to the break with a 13-point lead.

The pictures no one in the NBA wanted to see came with seven minutes left in the third quarter: Yannis Antocompo tried to prevent Clint Capella's Eli Hope, jumped to block the center of Atlanta and landed badly on his left ankle, immediately lying on the floor, groaning in pain and showing signs distress. The Greek freak went down on his own for treatment in the locker room as he dragged his leg, with an injury that on a superficial look looks serious. He still managed to return to the Milwaukee bench with the intention of getting back into the game, but after further examination by the medical staff it was decided to return him to the locker room for further treatment and not return him for the rest of the game, hoping the injury would not disable him from further games.

On the floor Atlanta took advantage of the Bucks' minutes of confusion, smelled blood and pressed the gas once more, escaping to a 20-point lead or more, finishing the third quarter with 36 points. From here the Bucks no longer had the energies needed to try to produce a comeback.

The Hawks got 21 points and 8 assists from Melo Williams, 20, 5 assists and 4 steals from Bogdan Bogdanovich, and another contribution from other sub-players: Clint Capella and Kevin Horter (7 assists) scored 15 each, Kam Radish the comeback added 12 and 5 Rebounds and both Danilo Glinari reached double digits with 10. The highlight was Atlanta’s defense, which stopped the Bucks on just 39 percent from the field and 20 percent from the three.

Jero Holliday finished as the leading scorer for the loser with 19 alongside 9 assists, Chris Middleton contributed 16, 8 rebounds and 5 assists but was not felt enough on offense, and Yannis Antocompo managed to score 14 points and 8 rebounds in 24 minutes until he was injured.

Both teams are now preparing for Game 5 on the night between Thursday and Friday in Milwaukee, which could decide the fate of the season - with or without the stars from both teams.
