Barcelona is working to find a suitable solution in order to renew the contract of Argentine star Lionel Messi for two seasons.
Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish League, had recently stated that he would not allow Barcelona to exceed the limits imposed on salaries in the League in order to renew Messi.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Barcelona president Joan Laporta will meet with Tebas today to find a common solution regarding the salary restrictions imposed on the club, which hinder Messi's renewal.
According to Spanish reports, Barcelona presented Messi with an offer of 300 million euros in exchange for playing with Barca for two seasons only, with the Catalan club paying the flea 200 million euros within two years and the remaining 100 million euros in the following three years.
