Promotion draws: Ingolstadt's bad luck is Hallberg's luck

The BFV has drawn the relegation climbers in the junior division for the 2021/22 season.

There is also reason to be happy at VfB Hallbergmoos.

District

- For many months the ball rested with the youth footballers.

For the new season, however, things should start again, provided the incidences remain stable.

The topic of promotion and relegation was also regulated for the youngsters - the Bavarian Football Association has just decided on the league membership of some teams using lottery and quotient rule procedures.

There is a spirit of optimism in the Freising district - and with two clubs there is particularly good reason to be happy.

Above all, the young footballers of VfB Hallbergmoos can hardly wait for points to come again - after all, the Hallbergers were able to celebrate the greatest youth success in their club's history: The U15 juniors will play in the regional league in the future.

"We would have liked to have celebrated the promotion in a sporty way," emphasizes VfB youth manager Sebastian Papenmeyer.

"But in the end we were happy one way or another, we really wanted that."

In terms of sport, the VfB team could not be beaten in the district league last year - but in the end the lot in the duel with the DJK Ingolstadt II should decide the promotion.

But in the end it didn't even have to be drawn because Ingolstadt II was not eligible for promotion: Ingolstadt I had no luck as the championship leader of the BOL - and thus the second of the DJK was no longer allowed to go up.

SE Freising represented with four youth teams at BOL level

"This is our greatest success so far," enthuses Papenmeyer.

The rise of the C-Juniors is said to have only been the beginning - more teams are to move into the BOL.

“In the men's area, we have already overtaken SE Freising,” says Papenmeyer with a wink.

"With the youth, however, we are still a step away." In the new BOL game year, the Hallbergmooser do not want to hide: "We already trust ourselves to play a role." Talented players from the younger generation have stayed with VfB - “We are also organizing trial training next week,” says Papenmeyer.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the VfB will screen from 5.30 p.m.

Otherwise “we're looking forward to the new season,” he emphasizes.

A total of 14 youth teams are currently in the starting blocks.

The juniors of SE Freising are also ready to start - although little changes in the Lerchenfeld: A, B, C and D youth continue to play in the regional league. "That is important for the whole club", emphasizes youth leader Manuel Esch. What the Freising have to struggle with, however, is the lowering of the age rating, which has been lowered by one year, but only takes effect below the regional league. Means: There the B 1 is still the U 17, in the district league, however, the U 16. This makes it virtually impossible for the clubs to slowly bring convalescent players back to life. "So far, these players have been built up in the second team with match practice at short notice," Esch points out. According to the new rule, a player of the C1 year (BOL) must now gain experience in the B2 team (district league)."In the physical area in particular, this is practically not feasible," criticized Esch, who presented this to the association - without success.

Otherwise, the Freisinger are also happy that things are starting again.

Those responsible are particularly proud that they were able to win Zoran Mikerevic for the U19s.

The coach has already worked for FC Bayern, among others, and also coached the U19 regional league from SV Planegg-Krailling.

"Miki is a very good catch for us," says Esch.

Promotion delicacies for TSV Eching

The B-Juniors of TSV Eching have achieved a promotion at the Green Table - also in the regional league. But because the two competitors had withdrawn, the young zebras went straight up. “This is of course a treat for us,” summarizes youth leader Florian Uffinger. Especially because the past ten years had been a dry spell for TSV in the junior division, the teams had played at most in the district league. In 2020 the U 15 were allowed to try their hand at the BOL, but had no chance in the league and were relegated again. And the U 17? "There is definitely a chance that we will keep the class, that is also the goal we are striving for," continues Uffinger. For him, the ascent is proof of the good work he has done over the past few years - "we have made structural changes".

What the Echinger also have their problems with is the age group reduction below the BOL.

"I don't understand why that had to be the case during Corona," complains Uffinger.

Nevertheless, the zebras are also overjoyed at the prospect of duels against top U17 teams.
