Brazil - Chile 0: 1

The Salsaas sweated in front of the local crowd in Angenio, but avoided relegation and arranged for themselves another game at the Olympic Stadium next stage, hoping to make it through on the way to the final in Marcana on Saturday night as well.

After his ten-game winning streak was cut short by an unimportant 1-1 draw with Ecuador at the end of the home leg, Tita brought Neymar and Ederson back into the squad, but the hosts did not find the net in the first half.

At the break, Roberto Firmino was replaced by Lucas Pacta, and the Lyon striker found the net in the 46th minute, after a great bounce from Neymar.

The Brazilians were released but three minutes later were left with ten players after Gabriel Jesus lifted a high leg in a tackle with Aohanio Mana, hit the Chilean defender in the face and was sent off with a direct red card.

Chile, the 2015 and 2016 box office champions, failed to take advantage of the numerical advantage over the remaining 40 minutes, with Alexis Sanchez returning to Martin LaSarte's squad also being replaced at half-time, and the tournament opening for La Rucha with the escort girls scandal ending Weak.

Peru - Paraguay 3: 3 (3: 4 to Peru on penalties)

Perhaps inspired by the dramas in the Euros and the performance of Italy, we got a great drama in a game that opened the quarter-finals at the box office.

Paraguay captain Gustavo Gomes closely pressed the first in the 11th minute, but Gianluca Padula equalized in the 21st minute (with a kick that was later recorded as an own goal by Gomes who also touched the ball), and in the 40th minute the Italian striker who was naturalized in Peru less than a year ago The reversal with 1: 2.

Paraguay did not give up and Junior Alonso made it 2-2 in the 54th minute, but the drama only intensified.

In the 80th minute, Victor Hutton returned the advantage to Peru, before Gabriel Abalos set up a big 3: 3 in extra time and sent the game to a penalty shootout.

In the deciding kicks, Alberto Espinola missed the fifth kick and allowed Miguel Trauco to become Peru's hero with the winning kick.
