Perez and Leclerc fought a thrilling duel in Spielberg in Styria * from the start.
Perez started eighth, Leclerc ninth.
The first duel between the two cars took place on lap 14.

In the end, neither Perez nor Leclerc had anything to do with the podium.
The brawlers finished the race in sixth and eighth respectively.
Spielberg's winner was Max Verstappen * (Red Bull) from the Netherlands, ahead of Valtteri Bottas * (Mercedes) from Finland and Lando Norris * (McLaren) from Britain.
World champion Lewis Hamilton * (Mercedes) finished fourth.
For the two German drivers there were no points in Austria. Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel * (Aston Martin) finished 17th after a crash in the last lap, newcomer Mick Schumacher * (Haas) only 18th
