FC Schwaig: Two games, no victory

State division FC Schwaig had a lot of trouble against the former regional division competition

Schwaig - You were the main competitor of the District League North in the canceled marathon season, there was a reunion on Friday evening.

And this time the other team prevailed.

In another preparatory game, FC Schwaig met TSV Eching, the team that fell back from first to second place in the District League North after the season was terminated and the quotient rule was applied, and so only narrowly missed promotion to the regional league. The Echinger Elf, meanwhile supervised by Michael Schütz, got into the game better because they used one of the first chances to score 1-0 (27th minute) despite much less possession of the ball. Eching had intercepted the ball in midfield, countered quickly and hit by Daniel Amannsberger, who was nicely cleared on the left wing.

But it took just three minutes before Schwaig hit back.

Raffi Ascher was fouled in the penalty area and even converted the penalty to equalize.

But the joy lasted only a short time, because the hosts took the lead again in the 37th minute.

The 2-1 was almost a copy of the first hit.

Again Amannsberger was unlocked on the left wing, who did not torch for long and sank the ball in the lower right corner after being ripped off.

In the second half, Ben Held's team ran up, but despite some good chances, they didn't manage to hit another goal, so they lost 2-1.

The next preparation game followed just one day later.

This time the opponent was SV Dornach.

An old friend, you met twice in the last season on the fifth in the table of the District League North, trained by cult coach Toni Plattner.

In a very entertaining game, the guests took the lead in the 45th minute through striker Robert Rakaric after a nice combination.

In the 65th minute Vincent Sommer equalized with a shot from 16 meters to make it 1: 1.

The hosts then missed taking the lead despite some chances.

Dornach made it better, who completed a counterattack in the 84th minute by Markus Buck to take the lead again.

But Schwaig did not give up and equaled again in the 89th minute of the game.

Ascher headed to the deserved 2-2 final score.

The first national league games

of FC Schwaig have it all. On Saturday, July 24th, the newcomer will celebrate his debut at SC Kirchheim, of all things, at SC Kirchheim, the ex-club of many Schwaiger kickers (including ex-coach Pero Knezevic). The home premiere is on Tuesday, July 27th at 7.30 p.m. against TSV Eintracht Karlsfeld. This is followed by the games at SpVgg Landshut (July 31, 3 p.m.) and against FC Töging (August 6, 7.30 p.m.).
