Drama in Japan: The government is expected to ban the entry of spectators to all the Olympic Games events in Tokyo, with authorities planning to declare Tokyo an emergency zone following the corona - all just 15 days before the Games open.

Prime Minister Yoshihida Soga has already announced that Japan is planning new steps in an attempt to stop the spread of the corona plague in the country.

Now in Japan it is claimed that as part of these measures, spectators will be banned from entering all the events at the games, which will open on July 23.

Medical experts in Japan and around the world have long argued that in light of the current situation in Japan, the right thing to do is a total ban on crowds entering the games, given the increase in the number of infected, summer vacation in the country and the estimate that in case there are 2.00 infected .

Public opinion in Japan is also in favor of such a move, with many expressing concern that the games will ignite a new wave of contagion and spread of new varieties.

As you know, the games have already been postponed from last year because of the corona.

This year the organizers announced a long list of restrictions - including a total ban on the entry of people outside Japan, a limit of up to 50 percent of the maximum amount of crowd and a limit of a maximum of 10,000 people in the big stadiums.

However, given the situation in the country and public opinion, the government admits: "Politically, preventing public entry is already something that is inevitable for us."

Elections are due to take place in Japan later this year, and political commentators have estimated that the government's insistence on allowing a public entry could be decisive, and rise to a party of its kind in the loss of power.

It is already a failed event for the Japanese, which is about to cost the country billions of dollars.

Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach has visited the country, but it is doubtful he will be able to change the bribe, with Tokyo 2020 organizers claiming that for them the corona restrictions on spectators would be based on the Japanese government's emergency policy. Tokyo Gov. Eurico Koika said the host city will continue to work on a "safe Olympics," even under the new regulations. Although Japan has been relatively unaffected by the corona (800,000 infected, about 14,000 dead), in recent days there has been another increase in infections in the country, the most since the beginning of May.

The uncertainty surrounding the games has also caused further and lasting financial damage: a long line of sponsors have decided to cancel their support for the games, expressing frustration at the organizers' "last minute decisions".

The move (from companies like Canon, for example) is part of a fear that "engaging with the games will cause a lack of sympathy" towards the companies, given the fact that there is now a negative atmosphere around the games in Japan.

As part of the withdrawal of the companies also reports cancellations of parties and events, purchase of special cells for viewing, etc.
