His daughter Cora announced this on Twitter on Wednesday: "Dad has passed away in peace and dignity after fighting like a champion with a noble heart and strength to the end."
Reutemann drove in Formula 1 * from 1972 to 1982.
He was also one of Michael Schumacher's predecessors, because: He sat in the Ferrari * from 1976 to 1978.

The 79-year-old had already been hospitalized for bleeding in the intestine and kidney problems several times in June, and his condition had recently deteriorated rapidly.
He was treated in the clinic in May for the same complaints.
On July 7th, he finally lost his last fight.
His daughter Cora also wrote on Twitter: “I am proud and blessed for the father I had.
I know that he will be with me every day of my life until we meet again in the house of the Lord. "
