In addition to this duel at the top, the Ile-de-France derby between Stade Français and Racing 92 is also on the program for this kick-off of the season.

The two neighbors clashed in the play-offs of the final phase on June 11.

Racing 92 then won (38-21) and confirmed its territorial domination, before being beaten in the semi-final by La Rochelle (19-6).

Another derby - Mediterranean this one - between Toulon and Montpellier will also mark the first day of the championship.

The promoted, Perpignan and Biarritz, will launch their season respectively in Brive and against Bordeaux-Bègles.

Then, they will face each other from the second day, in Perpignan.

Semi-finals on June 18

Tradition obliges, two days are programmed at the time of the end of year celebrations, December 26 and during the weekend of January 1 and 2.

For Christmas Boxing Day, the duel between Toulouse and the Stade Français will be the main poster.

After the New Year, Clermont will receive Toulouse.

The final day of the regular season will be played on the weekend of June 4 and 5, 2022, while the four best teams of the season will meet in Nice, the weekend of June 18, 2022 for the semi-finals.

The final will be played at the Stade de France on the last weekend of June.

It should also be noted that this year, rugby fans will be particularly spoiled with the broadcast of four matches, Top 14 and Pro D2, each week in prime time on Canal + channels.

Six Top 14 matches will be played on Saturday and the seventh on Sunday.

The Pro D2 will be on the air in prime time on Thursday and Friday.
