The Syrian delegation participating in the Tokyo Olympics receives great health interest, as medical analyzes were conducted for all members of the mission and studied, and all modern and chronic issues were addressed with everyone.
In a statement to SANA, the medical supervisor of the Syrian delegation participating in the Tokyo Olympics, Dr. Safouh Al-Sibai, stated that there is great interest from the Syrian Olympic Committee in the safety factors of the players, administrators and technicians participating in the Tokyo Olympics, as full medical analyzes were conducted for all members of the delegation.
Al-Sibai indicated that an integrated diet has been developed in line with this entitlement, in addition to conducting a doping test in coordination between the World Agency, the West Asian Organization and the National Anti-Doping Committee, and as a result of the difficult and complex precautionary conditions and to facilitate treatment in emergency conditions, a “medical box” will be distributed to players and administrators, including All emergency medicines, analgesics, antispasmodics, muscle tightening creams, digestive medicines and vitamins.
Al-Sibai said that it is the first time that the Olympics will be held amid medical precautions that he has not witnessed before. There are daily clinical and laboratory medical examinations and a saliva examination “BCR” for all athletes and administrators, in addition to the electronic applications binding on the phone of all participants, which is the “Osha” application for recording health reports daily.
Al-Sibai continued: Each participant must abide by a Japanese accompanying person within an electronic program on the phone called “Slow” who is responsible for assisting the player and completing all documents and health follow-up with commitment and signing of the guideline for examination, isolation and quarantine and all controls such as the mandatory mask, non-handshake, hygiene and ventilation of rooms Not to use common objects and not to use undesignated transportation.
It is noteworthy that the six athletes who will participate in the Olympics are Hind Zaza (table tennis), Majd Ghazal (athletics), Ahmed Hamsho (equestrian), Maan Asaad (weightlifting), Mohamed Maso (triathlon) and Ayman Kalzieh (swimming).
