Hapoel Beer Sheva announced today (Friday) that it has agreed with Italian midfielder Davide Petrucci for the next two years.
The 29-year-old midfielder has already landed in Israel and will sign in the capital of the Negev after undergoing medical tests at the club.
Hapoel Beer Sheva submitted a two-year financial offer to Greek side Panachiotis Takatsidis, but it has delayed and is waiting for an offer from Saudi Arabia.
The Reds were determined to complete a deal so decided not to wait and close Petrucci.

Petrocci, 29, grew up in the youth department of Rome and in 2008 already moved to the youth of Manchester United, where he also rose to the seniors, but never made an appearance in the senior team.
He was loaned to Peterborough, Royal Antwerp and Charlton and in 2014 moved to Cluj, Romania.
In 2016 he signed for Turkish side Rizespor, where he played three years before returning to Italy and signed for Escoli, where he played one season and last season played for Cosenza, who were relegated from the second division to the third division in Italy.
Petrucci has even made three appearances for Italy's youth team, but he has never played for the youth team and of course not for the senior team.
If and when Petrucci signs, he will join Itai Schechter, Eugene Ansa, Eitan Tibi, Iyad Abu Abid, Ariel Harush, Roi Gordana, Omri Glazer and Aviv Solomon, who have already signed with the team.
