The English association FA got away with a rather mild penalty after the misconduct of some fans in the semi-finals of the European Football Championship against Denmark.
The European Football Union imposed a fine of 30,000 euros on Saturday.
The use of a laser pointer by spectators, the interference by fans during the playing of the Danish national anthem and the burning of fireworks were punished, the Uefa announced.
England will play this Sunday (9 p.m., live ticker SPIEGEL.de, TV: ZDF and Magenta TV) again at Wembley Stadium in the final against Italy.
Police investigation still open
The outcome of the investigation by the British police remained open.
The British Secretary of State Susan Williams announced this in Parliament in London on Thursday.
The incident in which Denmark's goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was shone in the face with a green laser pointer during a penalty kick last Wednesday, she described as "hideous".
In the ZDF TV broadcast, the attack was clearly visible when the scene was repeated from the behind-the-gate camera.
Shortly before the penalty kick, Schmeichel was illuminated, among other things, on his head and face.
Keeper Schmeichel was able to fend off Harry Kane's penalty, but Kane's margin in the 104th minute was in goal.
It was the decisive 2-1 for England.
Incidents with the anthems had already occurred in previous games.
Before England's round of 16 against Germany (2-0), whistles and boos were heard during the anthems.
