An Argentine press report said today that there is a tendency to hold a match between Italy, the Euro champion, and Argentina, the Copa America champion.
According to the Argentine newspaper, Diario Ole, the European Football Association (UEFA) and the South American Confederation (CONMEBOL) are discussing organizing a (Super International Cup) match in 2022, especially since the Confederations Cup will not be held.
But the newspaper said that things will also be difficult in light of the crowded list of matches that may prevent the holding of the meeting.
The Italian national team won the Euro title after its victory over England yesterday on penalties in the final match, while the tango dancers crowned the Copa America after defeating Brazil 1-0.
