The district league footballers of TSV Eching have lost five top performers to Pfaffenhofen.

Judge it is now a young squad with a number of newcomers.

Eching

- A few months ago TSV Eching had to watch as five top performers followed former coach Gerhard Lösch to FSV Pfaffenhofen. Replacing the departures equally was not an option. The club took a different approach: it brought in - mostly - young players who were capable of development. TSV coach Michael Schütz now has the task of introducing the newcomers to the district league level. He's not under pressure: “We have a season to build something up.” The preparatory game against FC Schwaig at the beginning of July showed that the kickers from the second row also have potential.

Daniel Amannsberger, 20 years old since May, scored both goals in a 2-1 win over the national division.

The midfielder comes from his own offspring and was in the reserve squad last season.

He and other footballers from the youth and the second like Florian Kappauf (20), Manuel Goronzi (21) and Louis Kleindienst (19, most recently SE Freising) get their chance in preparation.

"It is up to each individual what they make of it," emphasizes Schütz.

A trio from the U19 Bayern League

It just doesn't work with your own people. The Echinger signed eight players - spread across all positions. “The squad is definitely super young. We will of course lack experience, ”says department head Fabian Goldstein. TSV unleashed three talents from the 2002 class from the Bayernliga U19 of FC Ismaning: Matthew Atkinson is a striker, Maximilian Mayer is a defensive all-rounder, and Philippe Göbel can play on the six in addition to the defensive positions. "Michi Schütz said that you can tell that they have had a good education," says Goldstein.

It has long been known that the zebras rely on a playing assistant coach this season. At Alexander Günther, everything revolves around football professionally: The 32-year-old works in the football school of FC Ingolstadt in the field of coaching and remedial training. Before he broke up his tents at TSV Neudrossenfeld (Landesliga Nordost) in 2018, he played for SpVgg Bayreuth in the Bavarian League, among others. Günther should pull the strings on the six and lead the team. Schütz: "He is incredibly technically adept and has a very good overview."

Fahri Kavraz (22) is also one for the midfield center.

He sniffed the district league air at SpVgg Kammerberg in the 2018/19 season.

In the last round he played for FC Türk Sport Garching.

In 14 games for the district classics, he scored six goals.

At TSV, Kavraz should increase the depth in the central midfield, with the competition in view of seasoned players such as Günther, Daniel Hahner, Florian Höltl and Maximilian Beer.

A-class goal getter with shoe size 50

Max Sperber is 30 years old and doesn't quite fit in with the other newcomers.

The attacker knows TSV Eching and returns to the zebras after four seasons with the A-class club SC Massenhausen.

The leap into the district league is big, but Sparrowhawk has something that you can't learn: the eye for goals.

For Massenhausen he scored 96 goals in 89 league games.

“It's always good for a few stalls.

And shoe size 50 is definitely not a disadvantage in the penalty area, ”jokes Head of Department Goldstein.

Alessandro Kestler (27) also played in Eching.

The goalkeeper stood between the posts for TSV more than 50 times in the national league.

After two seasons with FC Neufahrn, Kestler returns and competes with Alex Strecker, Robin Schmid and newcomer Vincent Spangenberg (19, SC Oberweikertshofen U 19).

The eight newcomers are compared to the departures of Thomas Niggl, Phil Schuler, Maxi Völke, Maxi Ceballos and Ante Basic to FSV Pfaffenhofen as well as the change from Dominik Eisl to Grüne Heide Ismaning.

So there is a lot of work to do for coach Schütz.

He has proven that he can do this at SE Freising, among others.

The 51-year-old doesn't put the players under too much pressure.

"We take one step at a time."
