Swiss tennis star Roger Federer has officially announced his withdrawal from the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

Federer confirmed through his official account on the social networking site "Twitter" that he will miss the Tokyo Olympics for the first time due to the injury he sustained during his participation in the summer season in grass courts.
