The C-Juniors of VfB Hallbergmoos, SE Freising and TSV Eching played for the construction trophy on the weekend.

The title went to a team from the Erding district.

Moosburg

- Torsten Horn remembers the day very well. It was Whitsun 2019, over two years ago, when the Isar Cup in Moosburg was one of the last major youth tournaments in the Freising district. On Saturday, the U15 junior construction cup final took place at relatively short notice, and SpVgg Altenerding won the title in the end. But that was almost of secondary importance, it was much more important: The youth footballers will play again after the Corona break.

"That was a great thing", emphasized youth group director Torsten Horn.

For a long time it was not clear whether it could even be kicked.

"That's why our thanks also go to FC Moosburg, who were able to organize the tournament at short notice," said Horn happily.

"And it wasn't a matter of course that the four clubs started at such short notice."

SE Freising loses out on penalties

The first of the two semi-finals in particular was an exciting affair. After Lukas Rymas had put Altenerdinger in the lead (16th), SE Freising first turned the game around: Erkin Özege equalized before the break (22nd), before Blenet Ademi scored 2-1 shortly after the restart (33rd). . Only a short time later, Tomislav Barac equalized for SpVgg (39th), so the match had to be decided on penalties. "And Altenerding had the safer shooters", Horn reported. In the end it was 6: 4 for Altenerding.

On the other hand, the semi-final between VfB Hallbergmoos, who were recently promoted to the district's upper league, and TSV Eching was a clear one.

The young Hallbergers were better in terms of play and unstoppable: Agon Morina (16th) and Michael Kratzer (24th) had a comfortable break before Kratzer (33rd) and an own goal made it 4-0.

VfB Hallbergmoos does not score in the final

So the zebras and the SEF had to go to the small finals.

There the Lerchenfelder could not be stopped and shot their penalty frustration from their souls.

Moritz Sachsenmaier (14th) and Ayham Jammali (16th) laid the foundation stone with a double pack, Marino Pajic (39th) and Jonathan Kleimann (44th) finally put the lid on.

The final was closer than the 3-0 for SpVgg Altenerding suggests.

In the first section in particular, the Hallbergmoosers were stronger and created the clearer chances.

"But if you don't use it, you will lose in the end," said Horn, an old soccer adage.

VfB could have led clearly - if not even had to.

This should then take revenge in round two: First Nils Pallares Basullas took the lead (56th), and finally Johannes Dangl (59th) and Tomislav Barac wiped all doubts aside.
