Maccabi Petah Tikva has completed another big deal: Liel Abda has been sold to Celtic, with the Malabes receiving 4 million euros for the 19-year-old winger.
The talented Abda signed for four years in the Scottish luxury team and will be the sixth Israeli to play in its ranks, after Nir Bitton (who is still in the team), Hatam 'Abd al-Hamid, Rami Gershon, Biram Kiel and Eyal Berkovich.
Celtic have acquired 80 percent of the player card, when they will have the option to purchase the remaining 20 percent for a million euros next season.

In recent years, Maccabi Petah Tikva has become a factory for the improvement of young players, led by Solomon, who was sold for 6 million euros to Shakhtar Donetsk.
19-year-old Abda, who became a car player for Guy Luzon, scored 11 league goals this season and is considered one of the greatest talents in Israel.
Last season he scored eight goals and was one of the standout players in the Malabuses ’great campaign in the National Cup, and their return from the National League to the Premier League.
Celtic, one of only five teams around the world to have won more than 100 titles, have a glorious history, even though they lost the Scottish Championship last year to bitter rival Glasgow Rangers.
The club is currently coached by the Greek-Australian Anja Postkoglou and the stars are French striker Odson Edouard and Scotland national team players Callum McGregor, Ryan Christie and James Forrest.
This is the sixth most expensive sale in the history of the Premier League.
