Regional soccer team SE Freising presents a whole range of newcomers.

But three exits weigh particularly heavily.

Freising

- It will be an interesting year for the footballers of SE Freising.

Three key players are not available to coach Alex Plabst, but the club has brought in some perspective players.

What's in the new regional league season?

The cathedral townspeople remain cautiously cautious.

It is as if FC Bayern were losing Robert Lewandowski, Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry all at once: The SE Freising kickers have to master a huge change in personnel.

Because: Captain and defense chief Andi Schredl is paused for professional reasons, Robert Rohrhirsch will be in America until Christmas - and Nikolai Davydov, Freising's strongest offensive man in the past season, has joined VfR Garching.

"Compensating for the three players will be impossible," warns coach Alex Plabst.

Benedict Geuenich a real stroke of luck for SE Freising

The SEF managers tried to find an equivalent substitute, but it was and still applies: Huge sums of money are not invested.

And so the club struck the transfer market within the scope of its possibilities.

Benedict Geuenich (26) has proven to be a real stroke of luck: The offensive man came from TSV Jetzendorf and immediately convinced in the friendly matches.

"I'm really very satisfied with his performance," said Plabst.

A youngster trio that the SEF wanted to carefully build up, but could now make the starting eleven, also has good chances: The 19-year-old Sebastian Niedermayer more than confirmed the impressions that the Freising team had made of him at SpVgg Deggendorf .

The same applies to the newcomers Antonijo Prgomet (TuS Geretsried) and Selim Magat (Türkgücü Munich).

"All three are doing well in the race," emphasizes Coach Plabst.

Three guest players from abroad join the national division

The 24-year-old Lassana Boubacar from FC Unterföhring recently switched to SEF. Freising's coach has great confidence in the offensive man - "he could replace Nikolai Davydov on the outside". A new keeper, Maximilian Oswald, only joined the squad in the middle of this week. Oswald comes from VfR Neuburg, but the man injured himself in the first training session. The line-up of newcomers is completed by Mevlud Sherifi (TSV Ampfing) and Niklas Tatzer (FC Deisenhofen). Both have potential, but are currently in poor shape due to the long break. Felix Fischer tried his hand at the national league team from his own youth - and Miguel Fantl moved to Freising from SVN Munich.

The Lerchenfelder first want to gently introduce three guest players from abroad: Wayde Miranda and Efe Eyubeh come from the Erin Mills Soccer Club in Canada, and Dhialo Pozo-Mcintosh from Sweden has also joined the cathedral townspeople.

Plabst: "It will take time for you to get used to the national league level."
