A decision could therefore be rendered at the end of next week.
BeIN SPORTS seeks to prove that the contract must be fulfilled within the time allotted by Canal + for a sum of around 332 million euros.
A source close to the matter confided to be completely confident in this procedure, with this interest in protecting BeIN.
The tension is at its height, the first payment is claimed for August 5.
Canal +, BeIN and LFP: total blur on lot 3
This launch of the procedure therefore proves that Canal + has made its sub-license contract and does not intend to broadcast its two matches from the first day of Ligue 1. A contract of 332 million concludes with the LFP that BeIN also does not wish to honor.
BeIN Sports reportedly responded negatively to a request from the LFP on payment for matches.
The Qatari channel wants to charge its encrypted counterpart.
Despite the split between Canal and beIN, the two groups, allied with Free, agree that there has been abuse of a dominant position by the League on the issue of TV rights.
A situation that still remains to be clarified.
In the meantime, Ligue 1 is still looking for a broadcaster, and above all, a payer, for its lot 3.
