The Corona theme also hovers over the new football season like a sword of Damocles.

Nevertheless, confidence prevailed at the playgroup conference in Attaching.

Attaching

- May the Games Begin! The rules for the new season were explained to the football clubs on Wednesday evening at the Freising playgroup conference in Attaching. There was the little

shock from the men's group game leader Florian Neubert right at the beginning of the meeting: With increasing numbers of corona infections, the chaos of the break-off season 2019/21 could continue. "If there is a compulsory test with an incidence of 50 or 100, then I assume that the game will no longer be played," emphasized Neubert. However, he was confident that the new season would get through.

In addition, the men's game manager announced that he would like to reduce the B-classes, which are occupied by eleven to 13 teams.

Towards the end of the season it will be decided whether to go back from six to five groups in the Donau / Isar district.

"It's not great when teams are free from play for three weeks," said Neubert.

A merging of C-classes is not an issue, because otherwise the routes of individual clubs could become too big.

No date for the catch-up game?

The group game leader intervenes after five days

In terms of catching up games, the group game leader made it clear to the clubs from the Freising district in the compulsory meeting that they should be played soon.

Neubert sets the deadline to three weeks after the original date.

"We always want somewhat adjusted tables and not a club with five catch-up games." At the same time, he asked the clubs to arrange the new date directly in the event of a cancellation.

If nothing happens for five days, then he starts the game.

As before with the Erdinger clubs, there was also the unanimous vote of the Freising clubs in Attaching to play the relegation games with a game on a neutral pitch after the regular round.

Florian Neubert announced that he would be changing the host clubs from previous years.

This year, UEFA has abolished the away goals rule in the European Professional Cup.

In the meantime, nothing has changed for the amateurs in the Donau / Isar district.

When determining the direct comparison, the goals are still added up - in the event of a tie, the away goals decide.

However, Neubert assumes that the rule with away goals for the lower leagues will fall on the next association day.

Referees are looking for reinforcement

Group referee chairman Stefan Gomm spoke about the subject of referees - and he made it clear that there was still a lack of young talent.

Games in B and C classes could not be filled.

He also emphasized that in the new season there is no getting around appointments of 62-year-old referees in the district class: "If I don't have the quality, I can't divide it up either." Therefore, Gomm appealed to all clubs to get new referees and support young referees in their first appearances.

He couldn't help himself a little swipe: "For some people who only talk intelligently, it wouldn't hurt to whistle a game themselves."
