The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today that the Champions League final for the next four seasons between 2022 and 2025 will be held in Saint Petersburg, Istanbul, London and Munich, respectively.
Dublin and Bilbao, after being unable to host matches in this year's European Championship, have agreed to a settlement with the UEFA Executive Committee and will host the Europa League final in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
The final match of the 2025 edition will be held in Munich, which was scheduled to host the 2023 final, while Wembley Stadium in London will reserve the right to host the 2024 final.
The Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg was scheduled to host the 2020 final, but due to the postponement of the final match and its holding in Lisbon due to the “Covid 19” pandemic in Europe, the Russian city’s hosting of the final was postponed to 2022.
