Three months after winning the Ligue B title, the Hauts-de-Seine club finally received, on Friday, the green light from the League to access

It is the end of a long and exhausting struggle.

A happy ending.

Three months after having won a historic title of champion of League B - it was April 17 -, Le Plessis-Robinson received, this Friday afternoon, the official letter of the National Volleyball League (LNV) which validates him finally its accession to Ligue A. Ile-de-France volleyball fans will therefore be entitled to a derby between Paris and Le Plessis next season.

Joy and relief live up to expectations for leaders.

“We will finally be able to launch our project, which has long been put on standby, relishes the president Joëlle Logeais.

This whole period was stressful and distressing but we will be able to move on now.

This is very good news for the future of the club.

We have a great project and we have received a lot of membership requests from young people in the city.

How does the PRVB project as it stands slow down the rise of Volleyball French ball?

After obtaining his ticket for League A sportingly, the club had seen its rise threatened and then rebutted by Yves Bouget, the president, and the executive committee of the LNV. The latter felt that the Plessis-Robinson file did not meet the new specifications which were particularly demanding for playing in the first division. They reproached him in particular for being able to welcome only 850 spectators in his room, far from the 1,500 claimed in the new texts. To defend its rights, the club had for its part seized the conciliator of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF).

“I met the president, Yves Bouget a few days ago to explain our project, continues Joëlle Logeais. We agreed to relocate four games, four posters. They will be played at the Charpy hall thanks to an agreement with the Paris club. For the rest we will also make other arrangements in our room with the installation of a giant screen, LED panels and we will redecorate our floor. I would also like to thank all the clubs in Ligue B who have been in solidarity with us. "

In addition, the club, supported by the town hall of Plessis-Robinson and the department, will double its budget (it will be around 1.1 million euros) and should benefit from a new room soon.

"We have a commitment from elected officials to have a room up to standards within 3 years with the neighboring town of Clamart (Editor's note: where the women's volleyball team plays in the 2nd division)", assured Julien Lamy, general manager of Plessis .

“We are happy with the decision, relishes Cédric Logeais, the coach and son of the president.

We have experienced a lot of emotions and twists for a month and a half.

We have built a group with a lot of French players, we will undoubtedly be the Ligue A club with the most French players.

The objective will be to maintain us.

But before resuming training on August 19, we will be able to breathe a bit.

"

After the arrival of the former striker of the France team Antonin Rouzier, the club recruited smart and young with in particular the signatures of the receiver-striker François Rebeyrol (21 years old, ex-Ajaccio) and the central Médéric Henry (26 years, 2.12 m, ex-Nantes-Rezé), two players who wear the tunic of the France A team.
