More than a victory before the grail.
Milwaukee knocked down the Phoenix Suns (123-119), in their hall, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
The Bucks now lead 3-2 in the series and have the chance to clinch the title on Tuesday at home.
To sign this third success in a row, the Bucks had to reverse the course of a badly started meeting (32-16 from the 9th minute).
They counted for this on his double MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo (32 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists) and his two lieutenants, Khris Middleton (29 points) and Jrue Holiday (27 points, 13 assists).
The latter, particularly in sight, signed the action of the match in the last moments, stealing the ball in the hands of Devin Booker, to then serve, on a counter-attack, Antetokounmpo, who flew for the decisive dunk.

"We know the situation," said Antetokounmpo after the meeting. We are one game away from the title of NBA champion, from entering the history of this game. Being able to do it in front of our families, our fans, is enormous. But we have to stay focused. If we have discipline, we play good basketball, with the energy of the fans, we have an opportunity to win an NBA title. But the work is not finished. It is not because we play at home that we are going to win. "
It is the first time since the start of the series that one of the two finalists has won away from home. It will take the Suns to win at the Bucks to afford a possible seventh game at home in Phoenix. As against Brooklyn, overturned after two initial defeats, or the Hawks, beaten without Antetokounmpo in the last two games, Milwaukee has again shown that he has the makings of a champion.
