Cordoba should bring Hertha up to 20 million euros

Hertha BSC surrenders striker Jhon Cordoba to FK Krasnodar.

The Berlin Bundesliga team and the Russian first division team have agreed on a transfer.

According to media reports, the transfer fee should be between 15 and 20 million euros, officially Hertha did not provide any information.

The 28-year-old Cordoba, who had only arrived from 1. FC Köln in September of the previous year, "will switch to FK Krasnodar, subject to the pending medical examination and the signing of the contract," said Hertha.

The Colombian had scored seven goals for Berlin in the previous season, but was also injured for a long time.

Coach Pál Dárdai has already said goodbye to Cordoba.

The Colombian was no longer part of the squad in the 2-2 test match on Saturday at the second division club FC St. Pauli.

“I thanked you for his goals.

Every goal he scored for Hertha BSC was important, «said Dardai.

Hertha had only secured relegation in the final phase of the previous season.

Union has Rönnow in its sights as a Karius replacement

According to information from the "kicker", Union Berlin is negotiating a future collaboration with goalkeeper Frederik Rönnow.

The 28-year-old Dane could take the squad place of Loris Karius, who left the club in the summer.

Rönnow, who is still under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, was loaned to Schalke 04 last season, but was not able to prevail as number one in the relegated team.

The Frankfurters, for their part, should try to find the substitute keeper of VfB Stuttgart, Jens Grahl.
