After colliding in a duel with Lewis Hamilton in the Formula 1 race at Silverstone, Max Verstappen was discharged from hospital late on Sunday evening.
“All tests were okay, I'm out of the hospital.
Thank you for all the nice messages, «wrote the Dutchman on Twitter.
Hamilton collided with the championship leader in the first round.
Verstappen crashed into the track barrier and had to end the race.
He was examined in the hospital for feeling dizzy and the stewards punished Hamilton with a ten-second penalty.
He still won the race and thus shortened the gap to Verstappen in the season's standings.
The Red Bull driver had criticized Hamilton from the clinic.
“The penalty given is of no use and doesn't do justice to the dangerous move Lewis made on the track.
Watching the celebrations while you are still in the hospital is disrespectful and unsporting behavior, but we keep going, ”he wrote on social media after his early retirement from the British Grand Prix.
